RBR Crew Development Program

The RBR Crew Development Program is an educational and professional development program for individuals with an interest in Motorsports. The program expands on culture focused on innovation and utilizing cutting edge technologies to improve on and off-track performance.

Reaume Brothers Racing strives to create opportunities for individuals with diverse backgrounds to promote equity and inclusion in motorsports. Areas of specialty will include but not limited to marketing, social media, graphic design, mechanical engineering, and race technician. The RBR Crew Development Program will provide the potential opportunity for participants with employment upon completion.

Race Technician

The RBR Crew Development Program is looking for an individual to serves as a Race Technician Intern. The Race Technician Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience by assisting the Crew Chief and crew with the day-to-day task of preparing a race car. The intern will learn all the fundamentals necessary to become a successful mechanic in motorsports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily operations of preparing the racecars
  • Assist in the preparation of race weekend
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the race shop
  • Assist in maintain the cleanliness and organization of race equipment
  • Assist in the transportation of shop equipment
  • All other duties assigned

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities:

  • Able to use measuring tools to validate race car parts meet specific levels for specific performance parameters
  • Able to use basic tools to complete mechanical tasks
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand, squat, or kneel for extended periods of time
  • May be required to climb inside of race vehicles
  • May be required to push race vehicles around the facility
  • Able to use basic computer functions
  • Able to prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Presents self in professional manner and has the ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts
  • Must have a referenced mechanical background.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-productive
  • Must be able to pass a NASCAR mandated drug-test

Marketing

The RBR Crew Development Program is looking for an individual to serves as a Marketing Intern. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience by assisting the Director of Team Relations with the day-to-day tasks of management of our partnerships, sponsorships, and marketing engagements.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily operations of the Marketing and Partnership Management Department
  • Assist with implementation of marketing strategies, promotions, and campaigns
  • Assist with pre-event and event day operations
  • Assist with partnership event marketing including planning, implementation, execution, tracking, etc
  • Development of Partnership Season Recap reporting
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities:

Proficient with office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Strong communication skills are a necessity
  • Proven written, oral, and presentation skills
  • You should have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives

Social Media

The RBR Crew Development Program is looking for an individual to serve as a Social Media Intern. The Social Media Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience by assisting the Digital Content Manager with the day-to-day tasks of management of our team’s social media platforms. The Social Media Intern will assist with keeping the fans up to date on all things associated with Reaume Brothers Racing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations related to social and digital media.
  • Assist to create, edit, and review social and digital media content to ensure grammatical correctness and adherence to Reaume Brothers Racing views and desired message.
  • Assist with Reaume Brothers Racing social and digital media strategy and maintaining a content calendar.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining content schedule for all social and digital media properties.
  • Assist with ideation and generation of original and unique RBR content and assist with social media postings as needed.
  • Assist in building strong relationships with Reaume Brothers Racing partners to support and promote their social media and digital marketing activations. This includes joining calls with partners for ideation and planning purposes when requested by the accounts team.
  • Build strong relationships with RBR drivers to gain their support for Team or partner social media and digital marketing activations.
  • Bring ideas and strategy to ensure RBR becomes a leader in social and digital media marketing.
  • Provide good communication, written and verbal, to key stakeholders within the Reaume Brothers Racing organization.
  • Ability to properly vet content and moderate inappropriate comments on social channels 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in social media awareness and emerging trends, along with digital marketing trends. Share insights and best practices with management, marketing team and Reaume Brothers Racing partners as applicable.
  • Travel, as needed, to assist with social media and digital content at track; must be able to manage the social and digital media team while traveling and/or working remotely.
  • Be an adaptable team player in all situations, including performing other duties as assigned.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures

Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities:

Proficient with office software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) or other similar editing/graphic design software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Achieving bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience within the field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, specifically within social and digital media roles.
  • Previous work in the sports and/or motorsports field preferred, or within the entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with industry trends.
  • Experience utilizing third-party analytical tools including understanding, creating and presenting reports to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to critically think and conceive of new and unique ideas as it relates to social media futures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and the ability to communicate across all levels within an organization.
  • Exceptional level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed.
  • Maintain the company’s professional image and message at all times.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel as required; mostly race weekends with some weekday travel required.

Graphic Design/Printing

The RBR Crew Development Program is looking for an individual to serve as a RBR Graphics- Graphic Design Intern. The Graphic Design Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience by assisting the Digital Content Manager with the day-to-day tasks of management of the designing of all our racecars and clientele. The Graphic Design Intern will assist in concept design and pre-press production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing paint schemes for RBR race cars
  • Assist in designing paint schemes for outside clientele
  • Assist in designing other RBR Graphics material: banners, wall graphics and more
  • Assist in templating paint schemes
  • Assist in formatting schemes to be print ready
  • Assist in the organization of manager design orders
  • Assist the Digital Content Manager in creating content for social media platforms
  • Assist with operating printing equipment (graphics printer, laminator)
  • Assist with installing wraps on race vehicles
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the graphics room
  • Preparing artwork for production printers and computer driven cutting plotter
  • Design for motorsports graphics, vehicle wraps, banners, wall graphics and more.
